Building new campus

Dr Chighel meets with contractors to discuss the extensive renovations of the original Talmud Torah building, the oldest of its kind in Pest, on Vasvári Pál utca 5. During its last renovation, the building was divided internally into a complex of residential apartments. According to the new plans, the 1st level will be expanded into a large lecture hall. Two additional classes will be built on the 2nd level. The building will also have a comfy student lounge and various nooks and crannies to just "hang out."

Hungary to receive fresh batch of COVID-19 vaccines today. Ágnes Galgóczi of the National Public Health Center has confirmed that in addition to a new shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine sufficient to inoculate 39,000 people, Hungary will take delivery of 3,600 doses of Moderna’s vaccine today. According to MTI, the new shipments will be used to continue the vaccination of Hungary’s healthcare staff and retirement home residents and employees. So far, 71,000 Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the country, she said.
